Detailed comparison: H1 vs R1
H1 scores 7.9/10 in our independent evaluation; R1 scores 7.4/10. That 0.5-point gap reflects real differences in capability or value, but R1 may still win if its strengths match your priorities.
H1 is best for: Labs, universities, and serious developers who want full-size hardware now. R1 is best for: Developers, schools, and enthusiasts who want hands-on humanoid access at hobbyist prices.
Our scoring weighs five factors: autonomous capability, independent verification (third-party evidence scores higher than manufacturer claims), commercial deployment scale, price-to-capability ratio, and real-world availability today. Neither robot here is scored on marketing alone. H1 and R1 are both worth evaluating — the right call depends on which robot's documented strengths match your actual workflow.
