How we rate robots
WhichBot is an independent buyer's guide. We are not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any robot manufacturer, and we do not accept payment for placement, scores, or verdicts.
Where our data comes from
Specs and prices are compiled from manufacturer announcements, regulatory and IPO filings, verified demonstrations, and reporting from credible outlets. Anything marked with an asterisk (*) is an estimate — usually because the manufacturer has stated a target price rather than a shipping price. We date-stamp every page and update when facts change.
The WhichBot score
Our 10-point score weighs five things for a consumer buyer: real-world availability (can you actually get it), capability (what it can do outside a staged demo), safety around people and pets, value for money, and ecosystem momentum (software, support, and the company's trajectory). A commercial-only robot can score well on capability and still be the wrong answer for your home — that's why every comparison page ends with a verdict, not just a table.
Corrections
Robotics moves weekly and we would rather be corrected than wrong. If you spot an outdated spec or price, tell us and we'll fix it and note the change.
