LimX Dynamics Luna: price, specs & review
The first full-size humanoid built to be looked at rather than put to work. Fabric-wrapped, 27 degrees of freedom, and a motion stack that does runway walks and full splits. It will not do a single chore.
The bottom line
Best for: Malls, theme parks, trade shows and brand activations that need a crowd to stop walking.
Price: The estimated price of the LimX Dynamics Luna is About $41,000 as of July 2026. RMB 298,000 in China, roughly $41,000 at launch. The first 100 orders carried a RMB 40,000 discount. LimX had not published pricing for other markets when global pre-orders opened, so the dollar figure is a currency conversion rather than a quoted price - expect import duty, shipping and support contracts on top.
Availability: Unveiled 26 March 2026, launched with global pre-orders on 26 May 2026. China pricing published; other markets to follow.
WHERE IT WINS
- Cheapest full-size humanoid from a serious manufacturer
- Motion quality is the point, and it shows
- One operator can run 200 units in sync
- Choreography from a video clip, no code required
WHERE IT LOSES
- Does no useful work - this is a performance machine
- Every headline figure is the manufacturer's own
- Standard Edition blocks secondary development
- International pricing still unpublished
